Film & Photography Inquiries 

Stone Mountain Park offers a unique and diverse setting for film, television, commercial, and photography productions. From natural landscapes and historic areas to open venues and roadways, our park provides a variety of locations suitable for productions of all sizes.

How to Submit a Filming Request 

To begin the process, please submit a detailed inquiry including: 

  • Project name and production company 
  • Type of production (film, TV, commercial, photography, etc.) 
  • Proposed dates and times (including prep, shoot, and strike) 
  • Specific locations within the park 
  • Crew size and number of vehicles 
  • Equipment and special requirements (e.g., drones, process trailer) 
  • Basecamp, and parking 
  • Description of scenes or activities 

This information allows our team to evaluate feasibility, operational impact, and safety requirements. 

Permits & Agreements 

All filming activities at Stone Mountain Park require: 

  • A fully executed Filming Location Agreement 
  • Proof of insurance (Certificate of Insurance) meeting Stone Mountain Memorial Association requirements 
  • Applicable permits and approvals prior to arrival 

Production cannot begin until all documentation is approved and finalized
